If you are searching for serene shores and the puff of waves inside Chhattisgarh, then you must visit the place BUKA, located 65 km from Korba railway station. The formation of buka is due to the huge reservoir of Bango dam, which creates unending ecological areas, shelter to millions of species, and water to countless villages.

At the end of the day you can trek the sloppy mountains in search of bears but that would be dangerous. Reach: Buka is 65 km from Korba railway station, on the way to Korba-Ambikapur, via Kathghora (NH 130). Then turn right from MADAI village ( 30 km from Katghora), and straight 14 km to buka.

The nearest airport – is Swami Vivekananda Raipur airport. Frequent trains from Raipur to Korba.

Accommodation in buka- as it is managed by Forest Department Kathghora. Things are not in the proper way, Before coming to BUKA, make a reservation at Kathghora forest office for a camp and resort. They will provide you with a ticket for accommodation in buka.

Place near buka : Bango dam is one of the fascinating spots, on the same roadways. 20 km turn from pondi uproda. It allows you to reach the zenith of the hill, where you are exposed to one side large unending blue body, and another side, a deep trench covered with green trees. This scenic view comes very few times in life. These destinations are ringed with the most conserved tribes, if you get some time, knock on any textured door of the tribe. On the way to korba ambikapur, another marvelous destination is kendai Falls.
